Why This Exists
July 2026
I spend my days building AI agents that function as an entire workforce. I spend my evenings in rooms where people care deeply about wine, art, architecture, and the invisible details that separate good from great.
These two worlds don't talk to each other enough.
The tech conversation about AI is obsessed with productivity — faster, cheaper, more efficient. The luxury and culture conversation treats technology as something that happens to other people. But the most interesting questions live in between:
- When everyone has access to everything, what makes something worth choosing?
- Can a machine learn taste — or just pattern-match preference?
- What does “luxury” mean when AI can personalize anything for anyone?
- If algorithms curate our lives, who curates the algorithms?
That's what this newsletter is about. AI and taste. Technology and refinement. The future of how we choose.
I'll publish every two weeks. Short essays, strong opinions, occasional recommendations.
If you're a builder, a thinker, or someone who cares about both the technical and the beautiful — you're in the right place.
